Community Shed (Woodwork)

Every Tuesday 10:00am - 12:00pm

Learn Skills. Share Skills. Be involved.

The Community (Woodwork) Shed brings people in the community together to:

  • Learn skills.
  • Share new skills.
  • Have a great time catching up and have plenty of laughs in a supportive shared space.
  • Be a part of the community.

It is a safe and wonderful place for everyone in the community to make projects while learning to:

  • Use the correct ways of using hand tools.
  • Safely learn to operate power tools and woodwork machinery.
  • Skilled guidance from the three tutors in a well equipped workshop.
  • For both unskilled and skilled people.
  • You can work on your personal project or you may assist with any community projects the Shed and Centre are involved in.
  • The Shed is fully equipped with tools, machinery and equipment that can be used for a variety of small to medium sized projects.
